Last night at 11pm we boarded our final train, Munich to Paris. Luckily, this time on the train we all had a bed to ourselves for the 10 hour ride. It was glorious. We all slept like a baby the whole time. We reached Paris at 9am. After taking a few subways and dropping our bags off at the hotel, we then journeyed towards the French Open. Our luck, we got there an it was sold out for the day. However, we made the most out of our travel to this area. We had a nice lunch at a local authentic French restaurant.
This restaurant also had the best bottled Coke that any of us has ever had.
After lunch, we then went to The Louvre. Here we had about two hours to tour the whole museum.
And lucky for me, I got in for free (being under 18 pays off sometimes). After seeing many famous sculptures and paintings like the Mona Lisa, we then headed back to our hotel where we will spend the rest of our trip. We have 4 rooms total here (Me and Robert, JoAnne and Putt, Wic and Richard, and John and Alleen). The hotel is awesome compared to the hostels that we have been staying at. Each one has a TV, shower, sink, closet, openable window, and some have a view of the Eiffel Tower.
We are all showering and getting situated right now and about to go grab dinner and explore the town for the rest of the night. I'm sure someone else will have another post by the end of the night.
